How you will make an impact:
As our Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting university-led project teams researching quantum computing applications. You will manage the onboarding of the project teams to cloud-based quantum compute resources and enable SCQA to scale its research project initiatives. This, in turn, will allow students and faculty to showcase how South Carolina can be a leader today in the quantum economy and play a pivotal role in the future of their university and South Carolina’s economy.
Position Overview:
SCQA is seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Project Manager to join our fast-growing team. The Technical Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting university-led project teams in leveraging technical resources, particularly cloud-based quantum computing, provided by SCQA and its ecosystem of partners. The Technical Project Manager will report to SCQA's Director of Strategic Partnerships.

How you will make an impact
The Brand Manager will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the brand identity of SC Quantum. Working closely with the Director of Communications, the Brand Manager will oversee various aspects of brand strategy, including brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for building strong brands.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute brand strategies to enhance brand awareness, equity, and loyalty.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, including marketing campaigns, social media, website, and other communications channels.
· Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
· Define brand guidelines and standards to maintain a cohesive brand identity.
· Oversee the creation and production of brand assets, including logos, taglines, and marketing materials.
· Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
· At direction of Director of Communications, manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to support brand initiatives.
· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in brand management and communication.
Preferred qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
· Proven experience (10+ years) in brand management, marketing, or related roles.
· Strong understanding of branding principles, marketing strategies, and consumer behavior.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual design.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in graphic design software.
· Flexible schedule and ability to work part-time hours as needed.
